This album is dedicated to the memory of my father, Eric (who art in heaven). For most of his life he was a committed church organist and choirmaster, someone I would describe as “a proper musician.” Despite his best efforts I never did manage to learn to read or write the dots but something he instilled in me, which is infinitely more important, was his passion for music.
